SMYLe proudly presents: Food and Fashion
An entertaining family event to help raise awareness of the variety of different regions and cultures from the Muslim world.
Date: Sunday 19th August 2007
Time: 2 - 5 p.m.
Venue: Dragon hotel
The event will include:
- nasheeds sang by the children attending Swansea IQRA club
(currently running at Bishop Gore School over the summer holidays);
- community videos
- a fashion show by children to demonstrate the variety of clothes Muslims wear
- a short talk on what the Islamic requirement is on colthing
- and food tasting from different regions in the world.
General Public attend for free, however there is a charge for service providers who wish to attend £10 and if they wish to have a stall then £35 pounds.
Any organisation who wishes to advertise their flyers will be charges £35.
There will be separate seating as well as family seating areas.
