Putting fun back into the Summer Holidays.
This summer Swansea Iqra Club will be launched for young brothers and sisters aged between 4 – 15. Swansea Iqra Club is offering a range of fun filled activities to enjoy including; Basketball, football, netball and much much more. Also a unique chance to make new friends whilst increasing knowledge of Islam and Arab.
Duration:
23rd July – 23rd August 2007 (Mondays to Thursdays)
Time:
9:45 am – 3:15 pm
Venue:
Bishopgore School
Cost per Child:
£25 per child per week, to be paid 5 weeks in advance

alhamdulillah, i think this project is a very good idea to keep the children and youth busy throughout the holidays, however i think the cost of taking part is pretty high at £25*5=£125 for each person and £250 if parents would like to send 2 children. i think many Muslim parents will be put off by this high cost.
i understand that it must have cost alot to organise the whole event with the venue and teachers etc. but for parents with 2 or more children, this will be a sifnicant strain on their budgets.
i do hope that their will be a high turnout as this will definitly be benficial for the youth.
