SAMI YUSUF LIVE AT WEMBLY ARENA
Awakening Entertainment is delighted to announce a live concert by Sami Yusuf at the Wembley Arena in London. To mark the plight of Darfur and other oppressed regions, a special peace concert is to be held at London's prestigious Wembley Arena on Sunday 21st October 2007 at 5pm, bringing together artists from around the world for a night of celebration and remembrance.
After a long break of nearly 2 years on British turf, Sami Yusuf is back. He will be joined by his orchestra live in the UK for the first time. There will be many surprises including new songs and compositions.
He will be joined on stage by a wonderful array of celebrities and artists. The evening will also be a highlight for the launch of 'Peace Album', a unique album with various artists including Sami Yusuf. Songs from the album will be performed for the first time at the peace concert.
Other performers on the night will include the world famous composer AR Rahman (India), All the way from Denmark the hip hop band Outlandish (Denmark), Kareem Salama (USA), The Sound of Reason (CAN) and Hamza Robertson (UK). This wonderful blend of artists will come together to perform a myriad of entertaining and spiritually uplifting songs.
